May Long Weekend...WOW

Hi Everyone. It's too hot.......naaa, just kidding but boy oh boy,was this May long weekend beautiful.




We were very very busy in the weeks...well months actually, leading up to this past weekend and all the hard work sure paid off. The place and cottages look great and many guests commented that they were very impressed with the improvements.....thanks everyone.



So all in all it was a really successful startup for 2010 and we could clearly see that everyone had a great time. In fact if I look out the window right now there are still people in the water, on paddle boats and on the slide......people that thought it was just too nice to go home yesterday.



Well...gotta go.....going in the water.

Summer is just around the corner.....

Wow...the weather has been spectacular, let's hope it continues.
Sorry it has been so long since we posted an update but........we have been so darn busy.!

In addition to the regular chores around the resort we have updated quite a few of the cottages
like painting the kitchens and doors ect. and done the bedroom walls of cottage 3 in pine......and
the floors in both #2 and #3 in pine. I am just at the stage of staining.....it's been an incredible
amount of work....ouchie...I am a bit sore....but it all looks great and we hope that our guests will
be pleased. Oh ya....also finished the front of store up above in pine and have plans for a bit more
of this and that around the place.

Well....I had better run.....lots to do.
